Equipment

The Centre for Enhanced Oil Recovery prides itself on the ability for its laboratories to produce a complete analytical data set. We are able to work from whole core or rock blocks to cut and prepare them for test. Replica reservoir fluids, composite gases and brine samples, are produced onsite. Tests are conducted under real reservoir conditions; up to 150 degrees C and 10000psi. Hydrocarbon Analysis can be conducted on oil samples and post production fluids.

Equipment:

  • 14 x High Pressure, High Temperature Core Flood rigs (up to 150 degrees Celsius and 10000psi)
  • 2 x High Pressure, High Temperature Micromodel units (up to 100 degrees Celsius and 6000psi)
  • X-ray Core Flood system, working at 38 degrees Celsius and up to 6000psi.
  • ACES-300 Rock Centrifuge system
  • 2 x Interfacial Tension, Drop-shape analysis set-ups
